Summary

Investigation of a village composed of three Dena'ina house pits just east of a gravel pit owned by the Prosser Corporation near Knik Lake began in 2005. In 2007 and 2008, researcher Daniel Stone, was joined by Burlinski and University of Alaska Anchorage Dr. David Yesner in the total excavation of a midden found in association with the shore house pit at site ANC-02967. This document includes that investigation.
