Cultural Resource Survey on Fort Richardson, Alaska 2009 (2010)
This report provides the results of a cultural resource survey conducted on a 117-acre parcel on Fort Richardson, Alaska by Territory Heritage Resource Consulting (THRC) in October 2009. The present cultural resource survey was conducted because Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (NRHP) required federal agencies to take into account the effects of their undertakings on historic properties.
A Dena'ina Lithic Workshop within ANC-02969, Overlooking the Knik Arm, Alaska (2013)
Investigation of a village composed of three Dena'ina house pits just east of a gravel pit owned by the Prosser Corporation near Knik Lake began in 2005. In 2007 and 2008, researcher Daniel Stone, was joined by Burlinski and University of Alaska Anchorage Dr. David Yesner in the total excavation of a midden found in association with the shore house pit at site ANC-02967.
