Archaeological Site Evaluation, Phase II, Elmendorf Air Force Base

Summary

The United States Air Force, 3rd Civil Engineer Squadron contracted Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. (Jacobs) to perform archaeological evaluations of recorded historic and prehistoric sites on Elmendorf Air Force Base. Jacobs conducted a Level II: Evaluation Phase Archaeological Survey. A site visit and general survey was conducted on June 2 and 3, 2009. Archaeological sites surveyed include ANC-00430, ANC-00431, ANC-00432, ANC-00443, ANC-00839, ANC-00840, ANC-00841, ANC-00912, and ANC-01073. This document includes details of this survey.
