Summary

An installation restoration project requiring archaeological monitoring of five previously identified underground storage tank areas (USTs, each area designated UST-llA-E) and the subsequent removal of four tanks ranging in size from 300 to 10,000 gallons at Bellows Air Force Station Hawai'i, Waimanalo Bay, Waimanalo Ahupua'a, O'ahu Island has been completed. Archaeological monitoring and mitigation measures were conducted by SCS/CRMS, Inc. at the request of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pacific Ocean Division.
