Summary
The 15th Airlift Wing (15 AW), PACAF, USAF, proposed to convert the operations of Wake Atoll to very limited operations (VLO) in fiscal year (FY) 2008. As a result, the purpose of this report is to identify and evaluate post-WW II cultural resources on Wake Atoll so an assessment can be made regarding what effects the proposed action would have on any historic properties eligible for or listed in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
This document contains the inventory of post-World War II cultural resources identified through a survey conducted by engineering-environmental Management, Inc., during May and June 2007 at Wake Atoll.
