Summary
A cultural resource assessment of prehistoric and historic resources was conducted for Altus Air Force Base between January 9-13, 1995, by the National Park Service. The assessment was part of the cultural resource archeological baseline survey requested by Headquarters Air Education and Training Command.
No archeological resources were identified in the 43.10-hectare (106.5-acre) area and no further archeological investigations are recommended for the proposed housing parcel.
