Report on Stabilization Efforts at Archaeological Site LA 53672 (AR-03-03-05-358), Cibola National Forest Withdrawn Lands, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico

Summary

This report represents an addendum to an earlier report in which the extent of mechanical damages to archaeological site LA 53672 (USFS No. AR-03-03-05-358) were evaluated and suggestions for stabilization of the damaged portions of the site were provided. As such, the present report documents efforts by Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and Escondida Research Group (ERG) to construct a stabilization structure at archaeological site LA 53672 in order to mitigate the detrimental effects of the aforementioned mechanical disturbance. USFS Inventory Standards and Accounting Form included.
