Summary

This preliminary management summary presents the results of a cultural resources survey of approximately 400 acres of land on the southern terraces of the Colorado River in Runnels County, central Texas. This report is intended to serve as a summary of archeological fieldwork and as a management tool for interim use by the USACE cultural resources manager. Included here are summaries of the survey methods employed, pertinent information for the assessment and treatment of cultural resources encountered, and preliminary recommendations concerning the status of these resources for potential inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). These recommendations may be adjusted as analysis proceeds.
