Summary
Northland Research, Inc. has completed the archaeological monitoring of Salt River Project's (SRP) removal and replacement of power poles along the proposed Monte Vista Road alignment on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC). The pole removal project is located within a portion of East Pueblo Blanco (SRPMIC-114), a large Hohokam village site that was excavated by Northland in preparation for a new road alignment.
