Inventory of Physcial Features of Salt River Project

Summary

At a conference held in Phoenix, Arizona, October 31, 1917 between the Director and Chief Engineer of the Reclamation service, the President, Secretary and Counsel of the Water User's Association together with the Project Manager and Accountants of the Salt River Project, it was decided to make a compete inventory not only of all movable equipment, material and supplies, but of all dams, power plants, transmission and telephone lines, canals, laterals, structures, buildings, etc., with notations as to their condition as of November 1, 1917.

The following report covers all physical features which are a part of the completed Project, while the inventory of the movable equipment, materials and supplies is attached to the balance sheet dated October 31, 1917.

This report will serve a double purpose, first it will be a permanent record of the physical features of the Project on the date the Project was turned over to the Water User's Association, with which to compare future reports, and secondly it will form the basis of the formal receipt from the Water User's Association.

The data for this report was secured by several parties, consisting of two men each, one representing the Water User's end, one the Government, making an inspection on the ground of each item listed herein.
