Picacho Reservoir Archaic Project, Annual Report, September 22, 1983 - September 30, 1984

Summary

The first year of activity on the Picacho Reservoir Archaic Project, or Phase A of the Tucson Aqueduct Cultural Resource Mitigative Data Recovery-Archaic and Lithic Quarry Sites Project, spanned the period from September 22, 1983 to September 30, 1984. The annual report summarizes the field investigations and research efforts at the designated Archaic and quarry sites. An interim evaluation of the artifactual and ecofactual data is presented, and research directions for the coming year are outlined. Additionally, the budget and management of the project are discussed in relation to the tasks specified in the research design.
