Summary

This project is referred to as "Huntington Reservoir Maps N.D." This investigation was conducted by Ball State University within the Huntington Reservoir in Huntington County, Indiana and the digital materials were processed by the Veterans Curation Program (VCP). The Veterans Curation Program has established protocols and procedures for archival processing and rehabilitation projects. These standards and procedures are included in the project's finding aid.

This project may be associated with several other projects focused on the Huntington Reservoir including Archaeological Intensive Assessment of Huntington Municipal Airport (12HU1068) 1993, Archaeological Field Reconnaissance and Intensive Assessment at State Recreation Areas 1979, and Archaeological Survey of Huntington Lake Shoreline 1983. Archaeological site numbers recorded on the maps in this collection appear to match most closely with the archaeological site numbers identified in the Archaeological Survey of Huntington Lake Shoreline 1983 investigation. There were 109 archaeological sites identified during the survey within Huntington County, Indiana (Wepler and Cochran 1983).

The digital materials in this collection were processed by the Veterans Curation Program (VCP) and include select aerial photographs of Huntington Reservoir, the finding aid, oversized material excel spreadsheet and a scanned asset key.
