A proposed 640 acre grounding electrode site was surveyed by archaeologists from the Museum of Northern Arizona in June, 1983. No archaeological sites were found in the survey parcel. However, a few isolated finds were found scattered throughout the parcel, with most of these adjacent to a dirt road paralleling Detrital Wash. Archaeological clearance is recommended for the SRP electrode site.

The Sundog Site (24LC2289) represents a prehistoric, short-term occupation and is situated on a large bench near the head of Indian Creek adjacent to the Gates of the Mountains Wilderness Area in Helena National Forest, Lewis and Clark County, Montana. Thirteen lithics recovered from the site were selected and submitted for protein residue analysis to identify animals hunted or processed at the site.

In August of 2001, Wildlife Resources Division staff notified the Office of the State Archaeologist that human remains had eroded from a bluff along Newell Creek on Ossabaw Island and following a storm. This report presents the results of archaeological monitoring for a COP water line project. The project involved the installation of a new waterline along an existing alignment in Phoenix. Archaeological monitoring was conducted under the established Monitoring and Discovery Plan for the city of Phoenix (Montero and Stubing 2004). As a result of the project, five features were recorded and two previously reported sites were given ASM site numbers.
