Site 48SW14641, the Red Wash site, is located north of the town of Red Desert, Wyoming. The site exhibited two components, an Archaic component overlain by a Late Prehistoric component. Both have been subject to wind deflation and erosion. Cultural material was sparse and included a small assemblage of chipped stone debitage and several McKean Techno-complex projectile points. The Cul-de-Sac Site, 48SW13648, is a prehistoric camp in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Six radiocarbon dates, ranging from 1540 to 1900 BP, were obtained from hearth features at the site and indicate at least two occupations dating to the Uinta Phase of the Late Prehistoric period. Four pollen samples were recovered from individual hearths in order to determine possible plant resources available to occupants of the site.

Four sites representing a temporary camp of unknown prehistoric affiliation (42Ka2042), an Archaic and Virgin Anasazi temporary camp (42Ka2044), a Late Prehistoric lithic scatter and Historic habitation site (42Ka2068), and an Archaic lithic scatter (42Ka6104) were sampled for pollen to identify local past vegetation, as well as subsistence practices. The fill from a single hearth excavated during mitigation at site 48FR5351 in the Wind River Basin of central Wyoming was examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. This site consists of the hearth (Feature 2) and a tight concentration of fire-cracked rock (Feature 1).
