Two macrofloral samples were examined from deflated hearths at site CA-KER-6134 in Kern County, California. This site is a Kawaiisu temporary campsite dating to the Rose Spring Period (ca. 1,500-1,000 B.P.) or the Late Period (1,000 B.P. to present). Macrofloral analysis was conducted in order to determine possible plant resources available to the occupants of this site.

The floated light fractions of seven samples from five sites for the Elk Hills Project in Kern County, southern California, were examined for macrofloral remains.
