Summary
Two macrofloral samples were examined from deflated hearths at site CA-KER-6134 in
Kern County, California. This site is a Kawaiisu temporary campsite dating to the Rose Spring
Period (ca. 1,500-1,000 B.P.) or the Late Period (1,000 B.P. to present). Macrofloral analysis
was conducted in order to determine possible plant resources available to the occupants of this
site.
