98th Range Wing (99 RANS), Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB), proposes expansion of an existing outdoor storage area in a pass in the south hills of the Pintwater Range. A 30-acre area was surveyed and used in 1998. Activities at Creech Air Force Base have dramatically increased. The addition would include storage of construction equipment and target vehicles. The Box Canyon Road gravel road bisects the project area. The storage addition is 70 acres and is the Area of Potential Effect (APE).
