This document is the isolated find record for VAFB-ISO-895. The artifact is a three-faceted ground stone fragment of fire-altered quartzite or possibly fused sandstone. The isolate is on top of the mesa, which is gently sloping to the west-southwest. The ground surface is actively deflating.

There is a high density of chert boulders on the surrounding slope, suggesting that this could be a resource area.
