This letter report summarizes field investigations at the site designated 18MO396, otherwise known as Locus I within Area 400 at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, Maryland. Phase II investigations involved the excavations of 20 one meter square units, as well as, two additional smaller units and soil samples. The majority of artifacts were found in the silt loam level. A cultural resource inventory was conducted by the Office of the Wyoming State Archeologist on the proposed Happy Jack Road at the request of the Wyoming Highway Department. David G. This study seeks to overturn the previous eligibility determination of being individually eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
