A high-resolution 3D scan of a large British lead seal from the Port Dauphin Village site (1MB221) produced by Graph Synergie of Quebec and Montreal for the University of South Alabama Center for Archaeological Studies. These files can be viewed with Blender (http://www.blender.org) or GLC Player (http://www.glc-player.net). This lead seal was originally gilt.
3D Survey and Documentation of Puerta del Sol Monolith (Gateway of the Sun) in Tiwanaku, Bolivia using the Konica Minolta VIVID 9i (2006)
The Puerta del Sol (Gateway of the Sun) is a large stone monolith at the archaeological site Tiwanaku in Bolivia. The gateway is believed to have been used to mark calendrical cycles. It was found inside the large Kalasasaya monument. The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST), University of Arkansas scanned the engraved frieze (top front portion) of the stone monolith. Phase IB archaeological survey of the Fort Dix armory, a 44-acre complex within Fort Dix. Investigations included excavation of 169 shovel tests in high, moderate, and low sensitivity areas, of which 76 documented areas of soil disturbance.
