Cathy Johnson of Arizona State Parks asked Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd. (ACS) to analyze historic material recovered from salvage excavations at the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park (AZ X:6:90(ASM)), which was used from 1876 to 1909. The artifacts were unexpectedly encountered during the demolition of a deteriorating adobe wall.
