World War II P-38G-10-LO Aircraft Restoration and Historical Context (2002)
This study was prepared in part to satisfy the need to document the planning, recovery, restoration, and display of Lockheed P-38G-10-LO, serial number 42-13400, the "Lightning". The Lightning is the only one remaining of the 1,082 G models produced during World War II. It is one of approximately 26 Lightnings remaining of the 10,038 produced.
