In 1995, Geo-Marine, Inc., under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, conducted an archeological survey of Little Rock Air Force Base, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and associated lands. Site Form for 3PU0456. Site 3PU0456 consists of the remaining portions of the Arkansas Ordnance Plant (AOP) which are found within the Little Rock Air Force Base. The AOP was a government-owned, contractor-operated (GOCO) facility that was constructed during 1941-1942 and which was closed in 1945.
