Report and SHPO correspondence for the Sole Site Missile Theodolite Tower (Building 1249) on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB). The site had recently been disturbed by a military maneuver and vandalized by private individuals. HAR-005 (LA 99457) is potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The site has the potential to provide information on both aboriginal and historic military use of HAFB and the Tularosa Basin.

Lincoln National Forest and Holloman AFB archaeologists conducted cultural resources inventory of 1,050 acres on the HAFB Main Base between 7 February 1996 and 28 January 1997, including resurvey of 20 acres.
