On February 22, 1993, Rick Bryant monitored backhoe trenching in the area of the new transportation complex. The area was used as a regimental barracks area during WWII, and it was believed that cement footings or floors from the buildings may have been located in the area to be leveled and graded for the new transportation complex buildings. The area was trenched by a back hoe to determine if any foundation remains were extant. No WWII or other historic or prehistoric remains were located....
