"The purpose of the proposed project is to improve the operating conditions at the intersection of Walnut Lane at U.S. 25, including the entrance to the "Sweetwater" development, located in Aiken County, SC (Figures I and 2). The existing Walnut LanelU.S. 25 intersection is a stop controlled, three-way, T-type intersection. U.S. 25 in the vicinity of Walnut Lane is a five-lane roadway with a center tum lane.
