Symbolism, including language, is widely viewed as an essential element of modern human behavior. Documenting the evolutionary origins of such behavior, however, has proven difficult. This data was created in 2004 at the University of Arizona by Barnet Pavao-Zuckerman. In 2023, this data was digitized into an Excel database entitled "Pacasmayo Faunal Data, Stackelbeck Sites" which is included on tDAR with this project. No paper copy scans exist for the Pacasmayo Dillehay sites.

The results of data recovery conducted for the Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region at six prehistoric sites in the Hart Mine and Cibola Quarry areas are presented in this report.
