A proposed 640 acre grounding electrode site was surveyed by archaeologists from the Museum of Northern Arizona in June, 1983. No archaeological sites were found in the survey parcel. However, a few isolated finds were found scattered throughout the parcel, with most of these adjacent to a dirt road paralleling Detrital Wash.
