    The Puerta del Sol (Gateway of the Sun) is a large stone monolith at the archaeological site Tiwanaku in Bolivia. The gateway is believed to have been used to mark calendrical cycles. It was found inside the large Kalasasaya monument. The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST), University of Arkansas scanned the engraved frieze (top front portion) of the stone monolith.     The Putuni is one of the large stone monuments in the monumental core at the archaeological site Tiwanaku, Bolivia. It is located west of the large Kalasasaya monument. The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST), University of Arkansas conducted high density surveys of the Putuni with the Optech ILRIS-3D scanner. CAST researchers completed a survey in 2005.
