The Presence of the Hunter and Gatherer Groups in the Northwest Mexico Region: Recent Findings

Due to a booming development in the Northwest Mexico region and the more and more presence of archaeologist in these arid areas, several projects have unveiled more interesting details about the presence and ways of life of the hunters and gatherers groups that lived and die in this apparently desolated spaces. The material evidence left behind for us to see, is not much, but those material context provide a glimpse on how they interact with their environment and how they build a cultural landscape. In this symposium we will present the latest discoveries of these groups in the Northwest Mexico region.
