El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro

The El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro is a National Historic trail that was used for over 300 by many groups of people. The trail connects Mexico City, Mexico to Santa Fe, New Mexico and was used for trade and the colonization efforts of the Spanish in New Mexico. Sites along the trail include pueblos, churches, towns and campsites.

This project represents a multi-national, multi-institutional effort to protect and curate the information from this complex trade route.
