Summary
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District archaeological collections were sent to the Veterans Curation Project’s (VCP) St. Louis laboratory in the fall of 2009. The VCP St. Louis laboratory was established by USACE, St. Louis District’s Mandatory Center of Expertise for the Curation and Management of Archaeological Collections and staffed through Brockington and Associates, Inc.
In the re-housing process of each investigative effort of the USACE, Louisville District collection, the same standard procedures and Glenn A. The procedures employed by the St. Louis VCP to rehouse the archaeological material from the Surveys at Patoka Lake 1977 investigation are discussed in the Artifact Report. The report can be found in tDAR at https://core.tdar.org/document/425992/artifact-report-surveys-at-patoka-lake-1977
