Summary
This report details the excavation of Unit 70 from site LA3949 on the Ladder Ranch in Sierra County, New Mexico. Excavation on this unit commenced on June 24, 1995 and was completed on August 3, 1995. The 1995 site operations were conducted by students of the State University of New York at Buffalo and New Mexico State University. All excavation was part of the ongoing Eastern Mimbres Archaeological Project (EMAP) under the direction of Dr. Margaret Nelson of the State University of New York at Buffalo and Dr. Michelle Hegmon of New Mexico State University.
