Summary
Playa 9 is a complex of sites surrounding a tiny playa approximately 1.5 km south of Scott's village. Pollen and phytolith analysis examine hearth fill and structure floors from this area to identify evidence of subsistence activities. Occupations examined in this study range from 420 BP to 1300 BP.
