Summary
Pollen, starch, and phytolith analyses were conducted on two samples from the Aleonar
site on Tagotong Hill, a ritual hilltop site of Neolithic Age on Cebu in the Philippines. Samples
were collected from a midden accumulation in a probable ceremonial area. Analyses were
conducted to identify both local vegetation and any evidence of ritual use of plants.
