Summary
A single ceramic sherd recovered from the Leaning Rock Site, 41SM325, representing a
Caddo household in eastern Smith County, Texas, contained charred residue that was
examined for phytolith and/or starch evidence of foods that might have been cooked in the
vessel. This plain rim sherd appeared to be part of a large jar.
