Archeological Inventory of the Casey-Clark House Property, Buffalo National River, Newton County, Arkansas

Author(s): Jay T. Sturdevant

Year: 2003

Summary

Buffalo National River (BUFF) has requested the assistance of the Midwest Archeological Center (MWAC) in conducting archeological investigations at the Casey-Clark House property during the week of August 4, 2003. The inventory is planned in advance of the installation of water lines, sewer lines, electric lines, and a septic tank. Since the property has never been fully investigated, a Phase I inventory of the property was recommended and concurred with by the Arkansas SHPO office (Steve Imhoff, personal communication to Douglas Scott, August 1, 2003).
