Archaeological Monitoring Report for Septic System Restoration at Bellows Air Force Station, Waimanalo, Ko'olaupoko, O'ahu and at Hickam Air Force Base, Moanalua, Honolulu, Hawai'i

Summary

Archaeological monitoring was conducted by T. S. Dye & Colleagues, Archaeologists, during ground-disturbing activities associated with the Septic System Restoration project at Hickam Air Force Base (Hickam AFB), Hawai‘i, TMK: (1) 9–1–001:013, and Bellows Air Force Station (Bellows AFS),Hawai‘i, TMK: (1) 4–1–001:015. The ground-disturbing activities that were monitored consisted of percolation testing at two work sites at Hickam AFB and excavation for new septic tank systems along with the removal of the existing cesspool systems at four sites at Bellows AFS. No historic properties were found during the investigations, thus no historic properties were a affected by this undertaking.
