Summary

At the request of Engineering/Remediation Resources Group, T. S. Dye & Colleagues, Archaeologists conducted archaeological monitoring at Bellows Air Force Station and Real Estate Parcels DE2 and DE3, Waimanalo Ahupua‘a, Ko‘olaupoko District for ground-disturbing activities associated with the Remedial Investigations at TG001, TS002, and TM001 locations. Archaeological monitoring focused on the identification of subsurface remains associated with traditional Hawaiian habitation and collection of sufficient information to mitigate adverse effects of construction activities. No traditional cultural deposits or features were exposed by the undertaking, which therefore had “no adverse effect” on historic properties.
