Author(s): Versar, Inc.

Year: 2015

Summary

This document provides a research design and technical work plan for evaluating the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility of three previously recorded archaeological sites on Cannon Air Force Base (CAFE), Curry County, New Mexico. The preliminary data potential and NRHP evaluations were carried out in 1987; each site was recommended ineligible for a NRHP listing. Additional work, however, is required to evaluate the subsurface potential and geomorphic integrity of the sites in order to develop a more accurate NRHP eligibility recommendation.
