Summary

Preliminary cultural resource reconnaissance along the Peacekeeper Program's proposed PA4 communication cable path was conducted by URS-Berger in August 1984 and resulted in the discovery of nine historic archeological sites (48-LA-443, 48-LA-445, 48-LA-493, 48-LA-494, 48-LA-506, 48-LA-507, 48-LA-508, 48-LA-509, and 48-LA-519), five prehistoric archeological sites (48-LA 510, 48-LA-511, 48-LA-513, 48-LA-517, and 48-LA-518), three prehistoric isolated artifacts (PDA 171, PDA 172, and PDA 197), and numerous isolated historic observations.
