Summary

This document contains the main content and Attachment A. A cultural resources survey of the Roads - Industrial Area (Phase 2) Component impact area resulted in the discovery of 12 cultural properties that will be impacted by construction of proposed road alignments at F.E. Warren Air Force Base (AFB), Wyoming. The Air Force, in consultation with the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO), has determined that eight of these sites (48-LA-71S, 48-LA-71X, 48-LA-71Y, 48-LA-247, 48-LA-259, 48-LA-283, 48-LA-448, and 48-LA-482) are eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The Air Force has further determined that these eight sites will be adversely affected by ground disturbance caused by project construction. A combination of avoidance, onsite data recovery, and construction monitoring will be used to mitigate these effects.
