Summary
Archaeological monitoring of Landfill 2c removal and gas pipeline trenching on previously-recorded site 48LA245, a prehistoric site meeting the criteria for the National Register of Historic Places, demonstrated that the site had no subsurface component within the project area. The Base Archaeologist, Mr. Rick Bryant, allowed the project to proceed and no further management actions for site 48LA245 are recommended in connection with this project.
