Summary

On September 25, 2000, SWCA, Inc. completed a Class ID cultural resources survey for an approximately 7-mile long gas pipeline alignment near Casa Grande, Pinal County, Arizona. The purpose of the survey was to determine if any cultural resources existed that may be adversely impacted by the installation and maintenance of a proposed gas pipeline from Reliant Energy's Desert Basin Generating Facility on Burris Road south approximately seven miles to an existing El Paso Natural Gas pipeline. This cultural resource survey was sponsored by Trigon-Sheehan Engineers & Constructors, who are under contract to Reliant Energy Pipeline Services to obtain environmental compliance in support of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act as it relates to this project.
