This is an abstract from the "SAA 2024: Individual Abstracts" session, at the 89th annual meeting of the Society for American Archaeology.
The results of the typological analysis of the sample of the collection of obsidian artifacts from the Uaxactún site for the 2010 to 2019 seasons are presented, highlighting the importance of this imported material to the inhabitants of the site, the variety of artifacts, and their possible uses.
