Samples from several sites in the Ancho Canyon Mine Area, New Mexico, were examined for macrofloral remains. This area appears to be one where several cultures overlapped. Radiocarbon dates range from 290 B.C. to A.D. 1870, representing Late Archaic through historic Jicarilla Apache occupations.
