The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast has contracted with PBS&J to conduct a Phase I Archaeological Assessment of Site 8BR1641 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in Brevard County, Florida. The purpose in visiting this site was to ascertain the extent, nature, and integrity of site 8BR1641, and to determine National Register of Historic Places (National Register) eligibility.
Phase 1 Archaeological Survey of the Proposed Payload Operations Facility, Cape Canaveral, Brevard County, Florida (2006)
Between March 13 and March 30, 2005, New South Associates, Inc. conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey within the proposed Payload Processing Operations Facility (PPOF).
