Two samples from Block 37 in the town of Skagway, Alaska, were examined for pollen, parasite eggs, and phytoliths. These samples represent the fill of Feature 4B, a probable wooden drainage feature, and Stratum 4 of unknown origin. Evaluation of these samples for pollen and phytoliths was expected to reveal the presence of discarded food remains and local vegetation.
