On December 29, 1992, Mat Control reported the discovery of historic artifacts under the wood floor of Bldg. 323. Inspection revealed that the area under the floor had been filled with material from an unknown dump area prior to the floor being built. The materials consist of military buttons, plumbing fixtures and pipe, '782' gear buckles and keepers, nails, bits of glass and metal, misc. hardware items, and a medicine bottle for filling syringes.
