Summary

This is an Arizona Site Steward file for the Vineyard Fort site, located on Tonto National Forest land. The site is comprised of a room block, described in one document as a red granite fort and watchtower, with burials. The site is alternatively attributed to the Salado and Yavapai and to prehistory and the 14th century.
